Coming from a long line of Russian-Ukrainian bakers, food has always been a part of my life. I discovered a love of cooking as an adult, but I’ve always loved baking. My sister taught me to knit and use a sewing machine when I was a kid, and I cultivated the love of making garments ever since. However, my love of the great outdoors wasn’t a part of my life until I was well into my twenties. Now I work (mostly) outside, I’m a long distance runner, I have a B.S. in Geography with a specialization in Biogeography, and I can be found writing a book, walking my 2 dogs, cuddling my 2 cats, cooking, baking, or giving a tour at Cahokia Mounds.

It is great that you walk your dogs but they need cuddles as much as the cats . PS I would have loved trying he pie. and I don’t even like cranberries . . Have a wonderful weekend Catherine .

I can make it up to Kc any time I just work morning and afternoons during the week and once a day on weekends . Did you move there ?

I got out there two weekends . Took my grandniece two days for her 14th B-day. She is a bit she but started coming out of her shell on second day. I may take a day to come by the bakery in a few weeks.
